Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year, based on experience.
About the Role
JENSEN Braun LLC is seeking a Traveling Field Service Technician to install, repair, and support industrial laundry equipment across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. This is a road-based role with no fixed reporting location. Travel directly from home to customer sites; provide phone support when not in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Install and service industrial equipment at customer locations
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Train customer staff on equipment operation and maintenance
- Provide phone support when not traveling
- Maintain customer relationships and promote service contracts/parts
Work Schedule & Travel
- On-call availability may be required, including evenings, weekends, and overtime
- Extensive domestic and international travel required
- Extended periods away from the manufacturing facility may occur
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree in Engineering, vocational training, or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a passport
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Minimum of 6 months of electrical and mechanical assembly experience (Braun equipment preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Computer-literate, including machine operating systems and PC-based troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and act as on-site leader when project management is not present
- Ownership of basic hand tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally (lifting assistance recommended)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and use of hands/tools
- Ability to work in active industrial and customer environments
- Continuous concentration in potentially disruptive settings
