CNC Machinist 

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring that all parts meet specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and other tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform setups for machining operations, including tool changes and adjustments.
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished products using GD&T principles to maintain quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
  • Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality control measures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience/Skills

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machinery with a focus on milling operations.
  • Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and CAD software applications.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and techniques.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$20 – $25/hour. Based on experience.
