Aftermarket Parts Associate
- Support the incoming phone calls from customers, distributors, field service and sales department representatives
- Sell parts to customers
- Coordinate customer orders and ship dates with the shipping department, occasionally packing and shipping parts
- Coordinate delivery times that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations
- Work with field sales and service representatives to determine parts and/or corrective action with respect to an issue related to parts
- Support the shipping department to insure parts ship by their due date
- Take multiple pieces of information and put them together to find a solution
- Provide inside support to field service and sales representatives
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned
Qualification:
- Associates Degree (AA) with appropriate experience
- Experience in the service and sales of industrial equipment, parts, and supplies
- Knowledge of inventory-control procedures
- Knowledge of project-management techniques and negotiation skills
